This free badged course, Describing language, lasts 24 hours and is comprised of eight weeks. You can work through the course at your own pace, so if you have more time one week there is no problem with pushing on to complete a further week. The eight weeks are linked to ensure a logical flow through the course. They are: Making words Nouns: naming things, places, people and ideas Verbs 1: how we describe what we do Verbs 2: how verbs work together Adjectives: adding more information All the bits in between Putting it all together Language in the real world.
